IT FLEW BY.

We're now halfway through 2022, 6 more months and it will be Christmas again.
I gotta say I've been very occupied with life lately most especially because I've been looking after a toddler.
The biggest plot twist of my 2019, my little bundle of joy, Isaac.
He'll be turning 2 in August and....

Yes, he is a pandemic baby and was born during the peak of COVID.

I got to say being a first time mum is already hard enough, but COVID made it even more difficult.
It has been a crazy, chaotic, emotional experience but it has all been worth it.

Now that I am slowly getting back on my feet again, I can now share my experiences as a first time mum here on my BLOG and also, I am doing this for me.
These upcoming posts would most likely be for my future self.
For the past few weeks, I feel like my memory has been fading. I honestly don't know why.
It could be for a lot of reasons but I do fear that I might forget things in the future.
LOL.

Me just being me. Dramatic me.
I'd like to document more, and share more through this BLOG.

Here's to many more blog posts this year 2022!

I'll end this comeback post with a photo of my baby Isaac.

Hello, BLOG!
I am officially back.... I hope?
I've always thought of blogging and posting for the past few years but most of my blogposts were never finished and some of 'em... I just wanted to keep private. So it all piled up in my drafts folder.
But today I decided to make a change - not just change the layout of my blog but also post something!

Today's post is going to be about my 25TH BIRTHDAY. I actually turned 25 last month (June) so this post is a month and a bit late. Oops! I've always loved celebrating birthdays... not just mine but everybody else's too. It's too obvious that I love having cake! HAHAHA.

My birthday celebration this year was completely different from any of the birthday celebrations that I had before because as we all know we're currently facing a pandemic. It's such a pity however I still am grateful to be alive and to be able to celebrate my birthday with the few most important people in my life - my girlfriends, my family & my boyfriend.

I felt happy that during my birthday, the lockdown restrictions in our area have already eased and they've already allowed small outdoor gatherings to happen.

And so this year... for a change, I decided to celebrate my 25th by having a PICNIC & GLAMPING PARTY with my girls.

Shoutout to @the_teepee_tribe for organising the bell-tent, the glamping set-up and the picnic set-up for me!
The Teepee Tribe Team came early in the morning to set-up and thank God because the weather was still dry then... however, they had to put the picnic table inside the tent because the predicted weather for that day was RAIN, RAIN and MORE RAIN.
IT WAS LASHING ALL DAYYYYY.

It didn't stop us from having fun though!

I only 4 of my girl friends - Xyza, Reyn, Meiyan & Marty... however, Marty couldn't attend. So there were only 4 of us during the PICNIC & GLAMPING PARTY.

I can definitely say that I had so much fun - even if there were only 4 of us. I loved how there were a lot of sweets and my friends brought 2 cakes!

So I had 3 cakes all in total including the cake that my parents bought me plus the French Macaroons that I've ordered and some Red Velvet Crinkles.
During the picnic, we had sandwiches, a grazing platter plus a few drinks.

We then finished off the night by having dinner with my family and then carried on with the glamping. Honestly, it was a really fun and unforgettable experience. I then woke up the next day to have an extended celebration of my birthday with my boyfriend since I only organised an all girls picnic & glamping party on my actual day :)

That sums up my 25th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION. It was all good in the hood. So thankful and blessed to be surrounded by such amazing people!
Quality over quantity indeed!
It was good to forget reality for a day as I've been completely stressed with life since 2020 came but that's a different story - which could possibly mean a different blogpost!

To everyone who greeted me on my special day.. may it be through Facebook, Instagram, Text Message, WhatsApp, Twitter or personally, thank you so much for the greetings and for remembering my special day. I appreciate y'all!

Just before I wrap up this blogpost..

'Til my next post y'all! DEUCES

My friends and I usually organise a day-out three months before our chosen date due to our hectic scheds! But this time, this day-out was kind of spontaneous. We didn't really organise this meet-up ahead of time, but fate allowed us to... see each other once again! YAY!

Luckily we were all free last Friday (1st April 2016 ), we then met up and had a wee post-birthday celebration for Kaye. I was really shocked when I met them because I thought that Xyza wouldn't be there! I WAS SO SURPRISED! She didn't even tell me that she was already home because at some point I assumed that she'd be hibernating in London after her New York trip! OMG OMG.

I was extremely happy because finally, we were complete... AGAIN! Sadly though, I wasn't able to do a Video Blog because my phone storage was sorta full already plus the weather that day wasn't really cooperating, it was raining so hard plus it was absolutely freezing!

We wandered around the mall for quite some time, and then proceeded to Fratelli's in Belfast to have our dinner. Luckily, Reyn booked us a table already. She was the only person who knew that Xyza was going to be there. Damn it! HAHA! So she got everything planned. You go, giiiiirl!
So we then got an Uber to Fratelli's and OMG! I swear I had no idea that this restaurant existed. HAHA It's located at Great Victoria Street in Belfast just across Europa Hotel, and is situated beside Red Panda.

Our table was booked for half 6. But unfortunately when we arrived, our table wasn't ready yet. We had to wait for about 10-15 minutes for our table... the manager apologised and to make-up for the delays, he offered us complimentary drinks at the bar. We were allowed to order whatever we wanted from the drinks list!
I went for some Greygoose and Sprite and the girls went for some cocktails! Reyn had Cosmo, and I had no idea what Kaye and Xyza had. A few minutes we got our drinks, our table was finally ready.

The restaurant's atmosphere was amazing. We were seated in a table that had comfy chairs. The artwork of the place was fantastic, table-settings were supreme and the heating was perfectly set as it was really cold outside. The only thing that I didn't like about Fratelli's was their lighting, it was too dim, also their toilets downstairs, I expected it to be fancy as it would be in some other restaurants... but unfortunately, there was literally nothing in it, not even a full body mirror.

Anyways enough about the moaning, here's more of our pictures from our wee spontaneous meet-up.

I must say that the food was amazing! I definitely enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed my girls' company. I now consider Fratelli's as one of my favourite restaurants ever!

Anyways... moving on.. I absolutely had a good time again with my girls. Never a dull moment with them. Can't wait to spend time with them again! XYZA, KAYE, and REYN! Shoutout to youse, I love youse always x Thank you for the friendship :)

Before the summer 2015 ends, my girls and I decided to meet up before we get busy for college, work and all.

We went for a quick day-out this time. We started off by having coffee at Starbucks then wandered at the mall for a little while.

The mall had an "Alice in Wonderland" kind of theme, so we decided to take a lot of pictures, of course! :)

We then went to one of our favourite restaurants in Belfast, The Ivory Restaurant. They serve the best cocktails in town! I swear! We chitchatted and had cocktails first then had early dinner afterwards.

The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect as well as the people working there. We had an exclusive table outside, the heating was perfect and as well as their sound system. Tell me about getting treated as VIP though :) It was surely an amazing experience.
Also for the food, I'd give it two thumbs up because it was really deliciouso! I ordered salmon and rice for myself while the other girls ordered chicken. I really didn't like my cocktail choice because it was too sour for me.. The waiter then decided to replace it with a sweeter one. I was in awe because their service was truly amazing as the waiter did an extra mile for me to be happy with my order. YAY!

That then sums up the Summer Wednesdate I had with my girls! I can't wait to see them again :)
